All bookings are taken on the understanding that the following conditions will apply in full in all circumstances. All bookings confirmed either verbally or in writing, are an agreement that the client will abide by Carousel Equine Transports terms and conditions, at all times. It is the responsibility of the client to read these terms and conditions thoroughly. Any questions please contact Carousel equine transport prior to booking transport. All charges are non negotiable.

All horses and equipment travel solely at the owners/clients risk. It is the responsibility of the owner/client to insure the horse for travel. Owners/clients are personally liable for their horse during transport. Carousel Equine Transport are covered under 'Care, Custody & Control Insurance'. This is not equine insurance and does not cover your horse for any sickness, disease, injury, loss or death and all relatable costs unless Carousel Equine Transport are proven guilty of acts of negligence, error or omission. it is recommended that clients/owners contact their own insurance company prior to travel to check if the horse is covered during transit.

Collection and delivery times are estimated, and can be subject to change due to outside factors including road traffic and weather conditions. We will endeavour to keep clients updated where possible. In the event of a horse needing to be stabled overnight due to an unforeseen circumstance the charge will be incurred by the customer.

veterinary or any additional costs, in excess of the original quote for an agreed journey must be covered by the client/owner. In the event of a horse requiring urgent veterinary attention in our opinion, and the owner/client being uncontactable, we reserve the right to contact a vet on your behalf. All decisions will be made under the direct advice of the attending vet. The owner/client will be responsible for all veterinary or emergency charges incurred.

Carousel Equine Transport will take all reasonable precautions when transporting your horse, however; in the event of an accident, the owner/client are personally liable for the horse in the event of an injury. Any damage caused by a clients/owners horse to the transporting vehicle must be paid for in full by the owner/client.

A loading time of 30 minutes is included in all quotes. A charge of £20 for every 30 minutes thereafter will be incurred. Should it not be possible to load the horse, a cancellation fee of 50% of the original quote will be charged.

Horses must be fit and well enough to travel. For horses travelling to vets, if an emergency, an authorisation from a vet must be given prior to travel. We reserve the right to decline a horse if we deem it unfit for travel. In the event of a horse becoming unsafe to travel once loaded or during the journey, as we feel there is a safety issue to either the horse, the driver or the vehicle, we reserve the right to abandon the journey and find suitable accommodation for the horse. All charges and fees for stabling etc are the responsibility of the client/owner. A cancellation fee of 50% will still be chargeable.

On confirmation of booking a non-refundable deposit will be required (amount to be discussed on booking). this will be deducted from final invoice. The balance must be settled prior to delivery, at the very latest.

Payment is via BACS or cash. No Cheques. Cancellation within 24hrs prior to loading incurs 50% fee. Cancellation on the day of travel incurs a 100% fee unless re-arranged with transporter. Prices are based on the information given at the time of booking, should this change any additional charges/mileage will be incurred. The first 30 minutes waiting time is included in quote.

All horses must travel with a valid passport and given to the driver prior to loading. The horse can wear whatever the sender deems suitable ie boots, rug, tail bandage. A headcollar/halter and rope must be provided. We can take a small amount of luggage ie rugs, tack etc. However this is at the discretion of the driver. All luggage is carried at the clients/owners risk and not insured by Carousel Equine Transport. We accept no liability for loss or damage.

We will make every effort to collect/deliver the horse in sociable and daylight hours, however cannot guarantee this in case of outside factors ie traffic, weather conditions, winter months.
